April 7 of each year marks the celebration of World Health Day. From its inception at the First Health Assembly in 1948 and since taking effect in 1950, the celebration has aimed to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization.

With the presence of our school and high school principals, academic coordinators, students and cadets from the Francisco Morazán Military Academy. We inaugurated on September 1st the Independence month activities.
On September 13th we hosted in our Auditorium, as part of the Independence month, a Civic Forum called Promoting Civism in Today’s Youngsters in which a group of participants talked about such an important topic.
On September 21st our school held an important event the V Interschool Fair 2016 with the participation of 11 different High schools from the City.
On September 26th UNITEC had their Annual Athletics tournament. Virginia Sapp participated and was awarded 1st place in the competition.
On October 4th we had our first Wits Challenge with topics from our general culture.
